randomness

- Christmas was fun and relaxing and remarkably full of snow (I took my niece for her very first go at sledging, we both yelled 'wheeee!' a lot)

- I have to go back to work tomorrow and this makes me sad

- I would be less sad about getting up tomorrow if I had an alarm clock that woke me with elegant phrases from Stephen Fry and I now know what to ask for next Christmas

- David Tennant does a lovely Hamlet

- I kind of want Hamlet/Horatio now because the two of them were so good together in that production, and I have never thought that for any of the other Hamlets I've seen

- David Tennant also does a lovely QI guest, Buzzcocks host, Doctor, Desert Island Discs guest and, apparently, reading of children's stories though I missed the last myself... is the BBC on a total Tennant overload or what? (Not that this is a bad thing)

- I have written 2200 words (so far) for the merlin_flashfic Winter challenge and this makes me happy because my mojo is apparently not dead after all, yay

- I am still reading Dean/Castiel fic despite never having watched Supernatural in my life. I don't need another fandom, damn it! (I just have a total thing for angels)
