that sweet SGA thing

janne_dSo I just got around to watching The Defiant One of SGA (bizarrely, on Fri night I actually had something resembling a life and so was out at the time of broadcast) and there are some random thoughts I feel compelled to share.
1) Sheppard telling Rodney that this is why parents don't teach their kids to drive in the jumper and Rodney replying that he was insulted and touched was so cute I went "awww" and grinned goofily for several minutes
2) When Weir is telling Ford to go to the rescue "just in case" she was so thinking "This is McKay and Sheppard. They could get in trouble anywhere" (I was going to say in a nunnery then it occurred to me that, yeah, they would totally cause a riot in a nunnery and I couldn't think of anywhere stereotypically safe)
3) Sheppard nearly blew himself up. He is such a dork.
4) Sheppard makes friends with alien bees! How sweet is that? Even little glowy things love the man!
5) I really wanted to give Rodney a hug when Gall (Gaul?) shot himself. The look on DH's face there was perfect
6) I don't like the Wraith. They beat up my honey and they're mean to little alien glowy bees and they won't even die when Sheppard is really clever with the alien grenades. 'Snot fair. (Though Sheppard being clever makes me happy)
7) Rodney firing a gun? Strangely hot. That's all I'm saying.

Date: 2005-10-02 08:26 pm (UTC)The Defiant One was fantastic wasn't it? Course my Channel Five sucks really large eggs so I had to watch most of it with a strange purple tint... makes me curious how hot Sheppard must be in normal colour and in focus... I'm not sure I'll be able to cope ;)
Aww, the alien bees were so cute, and he was talking to them. It was lovely and perfect. Then he went and got them blown up, which was less nice, but never mind...
Gall/Gaul was evil he and Rodney were friends (he was calling him Rodney, not Dr McKay, that's what I'm basing this on)... you do not make your friend watch you kill yourself. But the Rodney to the Rescue bit was great, and the "What do I do now?" when the bullets ran out was wonderful.
Okay. Umm. This comment is long, sorry about that. All I meant to say was "I agree" :)
