that sweet SGA thing

So I just got around to watching The Defiant One of SGA (bizarrely, on Fri night I actually had something resembling a life and so was out at the time of broadcast) and there are some random thoughts I feel compelled to share.




1) Sheppard telling Rodney that this is why parents don't teach their kids to drive in the jumper and Rodney replying that he was insulted and touched was so cute I went "awww" and grinned goofily for several minutes

2) When Weir is telling Ford to go to the rescue "just in case" she was so thinking "This is McKay and Sheppard. They could get in trouble anywhere" (I was going to say in a nunnery then it occurred to me that, yeah, they would totally cause a riot in a nunnery and I couldn't think of anywhere stereotypically safe)

3) Sheppard nearly blew himself up. He is such a dork.

4) Sheppard makes friends with alien bees! How sweet is that? Even little glowy things love the man!

5) I really wanted to give Rodney a hug when Gall (Gaul?) shot himself. The look on DH's face there was perfect

6) I don't like the Wraith. They beat up my honey and they're mean to little alien glowy bees and they won't even die when Sheppard is really clever with the alien grenades. 'Snot fair. (Though Sheppard being clever makes me happy)

7) Rodney firing a gun? Strangely hot. That's all I'm saying.

Dude, you have to see him in normal colour (uh, so don't download Conversion because he's kind of blue in that). The man is nice. Very nice. Icons just don't give you how hot (even the really hot ones) because a lot of it is the way he uses his face and the way he talks.

And I am so buying this series as soon as they come out with a box set.
