It is far too easy to buy interesting and fun stuff.

Today I bought:

1) Firefly
2) N.E.R.D. - In Search of...
3) NIN - With Teeth
4) one U2 t-shirt with the Zooropa baby and stars
5) one U2 t-shirt with "uno. dos. tres. catorce" on it

I therefore cannot buy anything else for... oh, at least a week.

Yes. It is. Firefly is a 15 part series following the adventures of the crew of Serenity. It got cancelled by the network before all the episodes were shown, then sold shedloads on DVD. Since Joss Whedon was nowhere near finished with the stories he wanted to tell with those characters, he managed to get a film deal and produced Serenity, which as far as I can tell takes the characters on from the series so the series fans don't get bored but is totally comprehensible to new viewers too. Oh, and the film has all the same cast as the series except for Chiwetel Ejiofor.

No, I haven't seen it yet... our local cinema is currently showing Wallace and Gromit and The African Queen *cries*
