Ooh, pretty pretty swans

janne_dLast night I went and saw the Matthew Bourne version of Swan Lake, otherwise known as "that one from the end of Billy Elliot" or "that one where all the swans are sexy male dancers wearing nothing but feathery breeches".
And oh, it was fine. Intense and sexy as hell and (of course) tragic, it's all about a confused, lonely Prince finding the comfort he craves in the arms of a male swan figure. Just gorgeous.
