Doctor Who needs to stop making me cry. It's not fair on a poor defenceless fangirl to do that after the absolutely hilarious beginning and freaking Peter Kay as Fungus the Bogeyman!

Also loved the Doctor's line that went something like "Sweet, yes. Passionate, yes. But don't confuse that with being nice." or words to that effect. Sooooo true.

Ooh, and there was a very nice pic of John Barrowman in this months SFX too.

Fungus! Why didn't I realise that. The kid who designed it was soooo cute, though.

Yum!

Oh, I loved the Fungus book - I spotted the resemblance straight away, he even had the same hair!

John is wearing a black leather jacket in the picture... (and he has very good hair)

I know! It was so sad! (Although the tragic ending was rather spoiled by the bit with the concrete slab at the end, which actually just felt kind of creepy).

And I'm so glad you thought it was sad too, cos Cheaper By the Dozen just made me cry so I wasn't sure if I was just being hormonal :)

Oh dear. I think the mere prospect of watching Cheaper by the Dozen would make me want to cry!

I found the bit with the concrete block oddly sweet. (Though I could have done without the hint about them having a love live, that sent the mind some bizarre places!)

Heh, we spent the day watching crappy movies: first Princess Diaries 2, then Junior, then Cheaper By the Dozen *giggles* How else do you spend your 21st birthday?!?

Yes, the love life bit was squicky *tries hard not to think about it* *g*

Oh, fardles! I so need to find out how to get lj to tell me when it is people's birthdays... Annoyingly, I did actually know yours was the 17th, I'd just forgotten that yesterday was that date!

Anyway, Happy Belated Birthday and I hope you had fun with your bad films. An unbirthday fic will no doubt materialise at some point when you least expect it.

*giggles* Thank you! (That honestly wasn't a hint... pretty much everyone forgot, including my best friend and my boyfriend *is so hard done by* ;))

There is a ticky box on the user info page to make lj alert you to birthdays, but it doesn't seem to actually be working.
