I forced myself to stop at 13 before I wound up with a reference to nearly every story I've read.

The Bough that Breaks when Fraser solemnly tells Ray that he doesn’t want to be a hamster anymore

The open-air tongue hockey in Scrabble

Anytime Ray and Fraser dance together in Pas de Deux

Absolutely the whole of The Course, but especially the moment when Ray finally cracks and drags Fraser into the cupboard

The reveal in The Good Detectives when it finally becomes clear why Fraser’s been laughing so much

The bit in American Way when Ray thinks that Fraser looks like sex on a stick pretending to be American, and Fraser says that he’s imitating him

When Fraser pulls back in A Modest Proposal to realise he’s got Ray draped bonelessly against the couch making hungry noises with his sweatshirt pushed up

Ray’s reaction to Fraser touching his hair in Eight Sessions, plus all of Welsh’s observations

When Ray finds the whole of Canada in Fraser’s closet in The Bodyguard and Fraser’s reaction when he comes back through the front door with a cookie

All the bits where Ray does a little wriggle in The Catch

Ray dreaming about building the slide in Family Portrait

When Fraser tells Ray they can’t have sex yet because the curling team haven’t gotten off all their rocks, just to mess with him, in Parental Guidance

In How Ray Got His Groove Back when Fraser just can’t resist pushing for more and ends up rimming Ray

Heh, I love all those stories ... somebody needs to write new ones, I don't think there are any beatiful stories left I haven't read :(

PS you should add:

The bit where Fraser finally kisses Ray in From Afar

And the bit where Ray says he loves him in Academic Punk

I'm a soppy romantic at heart :)

There's a philosophy of geography? The mind boggles.

Just out of curiosity, what are you actually studying? The last time you mentioned anything it was about the sociology of Glasgow tenements... (I think)

Not only is there a philosophy of geography, phyisical geography has a different one from human, and they developed in different places at different times, and I have to learn it all by May 17th! Gah.

what are you actually studying?
Hehe, that is a good question ... I'm apparently doing a BA in Human Geography, but it's turned into sociology without me noticing *chases after escaping geography*

I don't think I've read all of these. So I'll probably be back later. I'm still working on the hyper rec list of doom, though. Why o why did I decide that a categorised rec list was a good idea? (Am currently being morbid and playing with deathfic)

Is it okay to friend you?

Why are you torturing yourself with deathfic? *shudders* A well done deathfic can make me depressed for hours, which frankly I can do with out (though sometimes I do get the appeal). Anyway, go read something cheerful / hot at some point too, kay? Or any of the above mentioned, actually!

Friend away - I thought I'd already friended you, actually, but possibly that was just in my head and not reality! (Still need to work on that...)

Erm... because I'm an evil twisted bastardette?

No, I just think there is a surprising amount of DS deathfic out there, particularly when it revolves around the apocalypse. I just think it's an interesting phenomenon.

I'm trying to find the one with Walsh and the photographs at the moment.

Okay, beetling off to do the friend thing.

God, that one - isn't it called photographic evidence, or something? Ouch.

Did you get Executor already?

Oh no, don't do death fic! Every single piece, no matter how badly done, makes me cry!

Have you got Learning Patience, Just Until, and No Less Radiant? (PS you had me searching deathfic to find out the titles of those ... and I have tears in my eyes just from reading the summaries!!!)

Hmm, well No Less Radiant is acceptable I guess ... dead-but-not-gone-fic is fine, it's dead-and-they're-never-going-to-be-together-again-and-one-of-them-is-so-lonely-fic that makes me cry *sniff*

oops [livejournal.com profile] mondschein1. Usernames with numbers tend to fox me. I won't even mention my friend with the 7 number hotmail address, because it hurts.
