OMGSOCOOLFANTASTICOOOOOOOEEEEE!
Right. Got that out of the way.
Amazing that the Master had been in control for a year, that was a really interesting way to go, and much more believable really than Martha discovering the way to defeat him in a couple of days and bouncing back on board the Valiant. (Though I did get a slight worry about the kind of fics that are likely to result from the Master holding Jack and the Doctor prisoner for that long, yikes.) And I loved how the Jones's had banded together with the Doctor and Jack - no-one had just given up, they were all still fighting and that was great (bit sorry for Leo though, what happened to him?) and shows where Martha gets it from as well. I also really liked Lucy this week, she had so little to do but she did it brilliantly, you could see her crumbling away.
The Master was scarier this week than last week, helped by having much more interaction with the Doctor because that definitely brings out his EVIL-with-exclamation-mark side.
I loved Martha's storyline, that she became such a hero to everyone and travelled all over, I just wish we could have seen more of it. But she makes a damn fine resistance leader.
The toklafane were creepy. I knew that Utopia thing was going to end badly but that was way out there and I genuinely found it quite disturbing.
It's very wrong of me, but I found weeny!Doctor kind of cute. Martha's reaction was great as well, she was just so pleased he was alive still instead of freaking out. And how amazingly fantastic was she facing off with the Master and laughing when he's doing his big "about to kill you" speech?
I loved what the real plan turned out to be as well, especially when Lucy Saxon said Doctor with everyone else, and the Doctor was glowing and the Master was terrified of his forgiveness and then...
Oh then... when the Master was lying in the Doctor's arms, dying in the Doctor's arms, the only other member of his race... John Simm and David Tennant, you rock my world. How can you make me cry when the bad guy dies? That moment was incredible. That moment alone would have made the series for me. Utterly wrenching and inevitable and the pyre was glorious.
And then the wrapping up:
So the rolling-back-time thing was a little cheesy, but I get why they needed the Earth back as normal to avoid a whole post-apocalypse thing in future series and it did follow the story logic. Plus it kind of reminded me of the Discworld books where the stories and history have their own force and push things into place. I still don't get why the Masters soldiers all suddenly decided to follow Jack though.
Jack's goodbye was pretty cool. I really didn't see the Boe thing coming and I now feel a need to rewatch those episodes to see exactly what he says to the Doctor - I know they probably didn't have it in mind when they were written (the first one at least) but it would be interesting anyway.
And I loved Martha's decision. She has her life and her family and she needs to go back to them, and after a year of living on the run as the only hope for Earth, who can blame her? I loved that she went back and made her feelings clear to the Doctor as well and that she didn't break down, just told him he'd better come when she called and left. She rocked. (Besides, we all know she's in the 4th series, hoorah!)
In conclusion: Whoo! More please?

Jack as the Face of Boe is quite possibly the funniest thing of *all time* though I'm saddened by the lack of Jack/Doctor kissage.
Besides, we all know she's in the 4th series, hoorah!

And the Master dying in the Doctor's arms hurt so much. *sob*
