Dudes. Not having seen it, I just picked up Die Hard numero quatro in the local supermarket for a small amount of cash - and now I get where all that slashy stuff people metioned at the time was coming from.

Justin Long is cute. And did they seriously do a Brokeback reference in the gag reel or did I hallucinate that? (And why did nobody mention Kevin Smith was in it?)

I need to go track down some fic for this - [livejournal.com profile] torakowalski, I'm going to reread all your stuff now that I know what the hell a Fire Sale is!

Anyone got any other recs?

\o/ Justin Long is the cutest little hacker in the world!

Hm, okay, where to start...

Die Hard 4.5: I'll Be Hard For Christmas was a really awesome fic to come out of Yuletide this year. Ooh and [personal profile] lamardeuse's series is excellent.

Both very cool - and I loved yours too, btw. Particularly the Christmas one.

I enjoyed [livejournal.com profile] utopiantrunks's series that began with the story That Guy (http://community.livejournal.com/hard4brains/27697.html). (Links to the rest of the series in the fic.)

*pimps* We have a small number up at Skyehawke: http://archive.skyehawke.com/main.php?list=130 I've not read them, but at least they're slashy:)

Thank you! I shall check it out. The sad thing about small fandoms is that it is actually possible to find all the fic out there... and I think I may be reaching the end point.

Well, that means you have to write it yourself:)

(I think I may have written the only ficlet for a fandom - I'm wondering whether it even constitutes as "fandom" in this case. But it's a weird feeling anyway.)

I'm not really feeling a writing urge for DH4, just a reading one.

I'm impressed if you've got the only fic ever for something - that has to be a claim to fame.

green_grrl has a rec site for that. Actually she has rec sites for many, many things, and one of them is DH4. Try here: http://green-grrl.livejournal.com/73201.html

Don't know if you've seen it yet, but [livejournal.com profile] hard4brains is the place for all things LFDH. :)

Ooh! I hadn't, or not consciously. I've been mainly working through people's rec and masterlists so I've probably read stuff there and not twigged. Thanks.

Talking of LFDH, your series is one of the ones that stuck out during my new-fandom-blitz phase (I must have read every fic there was in about 2 days). I really liked how together Matt was in it, with the apartment and joining the gym, and the thanksgiving one with Matt's mum and John's son was very funny. Oh, and the end of the first one where Matt asks "How could I not?" really stuck with me.

Oh, yay, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed those parts, and Matt's characterization. :)
