Finding an intriguing and well-written response in the Star Trek XI kink meme... and then realising it just stops and the author hasn't continued it for ages, sigh. Something that has happened to me a lot in that meme. (Though I should say there are also a lot of very good responses that have been finished.)

OMG, I know! I've read several that sucked me in and made me happy - then stopped! It's enough to have me banging my head against the desk.

It's sooooo frustrating, isn't it? And the meme is so huge now it is incredibly hard to find things again if (like me) you aren't very clever at remembering to track bits. I just hope that the people writing the ones I liked do actually finish eventually and then post to a community.

You mean we can track them? 0_o I'm such a goober! I spent two hours last night going through the meme, reading the new entries (holy cow there's a lot!) and trying to find the ones that are dribbling along. I'm with you in hoping that the stories eventually get finished and posted somewhere.

Yeah, if you look at a thread (like this one) you can usually either see a little icon like a grey pin or a 'Track This' option. If you click that, you should get notified (I think to your inbox) when a thread or entry gets updated. Though I haven't really used it much myself and I usually forget it is an option - hence my muttering about the length of the meme!
