Why do you dislike eleven so much? (TOS Kirk/Spock)
OMG, because William Shatner makes every fibre of my being cringe and even just imagining him in a romantic... oh, urgh, brain bleach, run away, run away!
So that's completely rational and reasonable... also, all the fic I've read for them was clearly written in a previous age of slash and the style and underlying atmosphere simply do not work for me.
Who is someone you know that ships fourteen? (Adam Lambert/Kris Allen)
That would be the people responsible for my intrigue in the first place:seperis and astolat. I would never have read anything to do with these people if they hadn't written it. I've never watched more than about a minute of American Idol and I don't know who these people are. (I'm not even getting into how this is likely the slippery slope down into RPF because I'm in denial and persisting in the belief that since I haven't seen them, they don't actually exist and have been made up purely for the fic. Mmkay?)
What would be your ideal scenario for couple three? (Dean/Castiel)
Hmm, either post-apocalypse how-do-we-learn-to-live fic with UST and misunderstandings and Cas being awesome and alien and a happy ending, or an ending-the-apocalypse fic in which both are badass and have each other's back and there is a bit of angst (what with the apocalypse and all) and a happy ending. The happy ending is a must.
Which is your favourite moment for couple one? (Merlin/Arthur)
Oh man. That is difficult. But I think it has to be the scene on the beach in The Labyrinth of Gedref - the gorgeous image of the table and the goblets between them and the way the test plays out just makes my heart sing.
How long have you been following couple six? (John Sheppard/Rodney McKay)
Ooh, since about mid-2005. Not as long as some of the other pairings (the HL and dS pairings are both three years older than that) but John and Rodney are proving fairly enduring. I still enjoy reading them and rereading favourite fics with them though I don't write them at the moment myself. I liked their banter and awkwardness and the fandom was brilliant.
What's the story with eight? what made you stop liking them/caring? (Jack Sparrow/Norrington)
I watched the sequel, and I didn't enjoy it. Sigh. And I really didn't like what they did to Norrington - he was so cool and snarky and honourable in the first film and the direction they took him in the second film wasn't what I wanted for him. It was difficult to stay interested after that.

It has to be Dean/Sam because I just don't get the incest thing. Nothing against people who do but it totally doesn't work for me (and yes I have read some by some good writers and it just makes me uncomfortable) whereas I can just about get my head around Vecchio and Fraser being together.

Methos/Duncan. My first slash loves, my longest running ship, one of the most fascinating and versatile universes for fanficcers to play in... as hot and interesting as new Kirk and Spock are, they just can't compare.
What interests you about fifteen? (reboot Kirk/McCoy)
I'm going to own up to being totally shallow about this one and admit that it's the pretty. Karl Urban is smoking and Chris Pine is stunning. Nuff said.
Why did you stop liking seven? (Buffy/Angel)
Because I stopped liking Angel part way through series two of Angel and I found when I went back to earlier Buffy episodes, it affected how I saw their relationship - I still enjoyed the drama of them together but I wasn't invested anymore.
Did your waning interest in nine kill your interest in the show? (Lex/Clark)
Hah, no. My interest in the pairing was the only reason I was watching Smallville in the first place. And I stopped watching the show well before I stopped reading the fic. I think it was more to do with it being harder to find the happy endings I liked as the show progressed.
What's a song that reminds you of five? (RayK/Fraser)
Too easy - Northwest Passage sung by Stan Rogers. Gets me thinking about them every time.
If you could have any of these two pairings double-date, who would it be?
Er. Probably reboot Kirk/Spock and Dean/Castiel because Spock and Castiel together just sounds like a recipe for totally awesome weirdness.

Hmm. Well, I'd have to define the ending as the end of the series since the films that came after that shall not be named and most emphatically do not count. So the answer has to be no, they didn't get a happy ending in the show.

Um, nothing. I just read it occasionally when it appears on my flist by good authors - I'm not interested enough in the fandom or RPF to actually ship it.

Argh. I... uh, I'd probably have to say Kirk/Spock because despite my love for John and Rodney, Kirk and Spock are so fascinating and they have an epicness that I like.

YES. karl urban. i don't know, i love that man. i mean, i saw pics of him (obviously) during lord of the rings promotion but he wasn't even a blip on my radar until now! i feel so bad but WOAH. also: captain fine is always going to be hot. always.

SO creepy. A quick poll of my work colleagues on how to describe him in one word gave 'slimy' as the favourite... and the pauses are just bizarre. I find him more bearable now he's old and pudgy - but in the ST series he's nails on a blackboard.
