DW: The Impossible Astronaut

janne_dI really don't think my reaction to that is conveyable in words...*hyperventilates*
- comedy opening of naked Doctor hiding in someone's skirt, very nice, laughed a lot
- why were Amy and Rory not travelling with him anymore? But I liked how he was apparently still showing off for them anyway
- River is a BAMF. I swear the guard's report started "She's doing it again... packing" like she just escapes from the Stormcage whenever she needs a holiday (okay, probably whenever she needs to save the universe, but they don't know that)
And then all the comedy curled up and blew away...
- OMFG. Did not see that coming in a million years. Way to start with a shot to the heart of all the viewers, Mr Moffat.
- I think I need to rewatch the scene in the TARDIS when younger Doctor gets his suspicious on. I loved how awkward they all were with him and how he calls them on not telling him and the exchange with River about trust was something else.
- I liked Mark Sheppard a lot and I hope that the reason he can't get married is because he's gay
- the freaky face dudes freak me the fuck out, yurgh *shivers*. And if it wasn't enough that they look creepy as hell, the way they work is scarier still. Monsters that you forget once you stop looking at them, that is even worse than the Weeping Angels because at least with the Angels you can try to protect yourself
- the Doctor and River flirting will always be hot. Calling her Mrs Robinson was probably the only way to get a smile from me after the pyre scene too
- River's conversation with Rory about her worst day was wrenching because we know it is all literal truth
- and last but not least THAT ENDING! JFC, Rory is in trouble and Amy might have just murdered someone and I may explode by next week!
